  • When and if conditions permit, move to a shoulder or other "SAFE AREA" to prevent further damage

  • Try to complete a report on the scene and draw a diagram showing streets, buildings, driveways and where the vehicles were and what happened.
  • Obtain the names and contact information from witnesses including addresses
  • If you are not driving your car, notify the owner of the vehicle as soon as possible
